Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RF Engineer to join our engineering team for the development of a cutting-edge Digital Radio Management (DRM) device. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and validating RF circuits and antennas to ensure reliable signal reception and compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Optimization:
- Develop and optimize RF circuits for AM/FM/DRM signal reception.
- Design, simulate, and test matching networks, filters, and amplifiers to improve signal sensitivity and noise performance.
- Perform impedance matching and ensure the integration of the RF Front-End with other system components.
Antenna Development:
- Design and validate high-performance antennas for DRM, AM, and FM frequency bands.
- Optimize antenna placement and performance within device constraints.
- Conduct field testing and performance tuning for various environments.
EMI/EMC Analysis:
- Analyze potential electromagnetic interference (EMI) sources within the system.
- Implement solutions to mitigate EMI and ensure compliance with EMC standards.
- Conduct pre-compliance and full-compliance testing for EMI/EMC certifications.
Testing and Validation:
- Use state-of-the-art equipment to measure and validate RF circuit performance.
- Perform RF measurements including S-parameters, gain, noise figure, and power levels.
- Document test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineers to ensure seamless RF integration.
- Provide technical support during prototype development and production phases.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Experience:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as ADS (Advanced Design System), HFSS (High-Frequency Structure Simulator), and CST Studio.
- Experience with RF measurement and analysis tools like Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Strong understanding of RF design principles including impedance matching, filtering, and noise optimization.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards and mitigation techniques.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AM/FM/DRM signal processing.
- Knowledge of SDR (Software-Defined Radio) principles and integration.
- Hands-on experience with antenna fabrication and testing in real-world conditions.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work on state-of-the-art DRM technology with a talented team of engineers.
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Professional growth and development opportunities.
