Manhattan OMS Engineer - Splunk (5-8 yrs)

Location : Remote, India.

Mode : Contract, C2C.

Shift : UK Shift, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities :

- Level 2/3 Support : Provide advanced technical support for Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) and Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF) systems.

- Incident Management : Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve critical issues affecting the e-commerce platform, driving them to closure.

- Monitoring and Alerting : Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar to proactively identify and address potential issues.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve response times and overall system efficiency.

- Automation : Develop and implement automation scripts (Shell, Python, Java, etc.) to streamline routine tasks and reduce manual effort.

- Problem Solving : Utilize strong analytical and debugging skills to diagnose complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business analysts, to ensure smooth operations.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) and Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF)

- Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)

- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, etc.)

- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.)

- Understanding of network protocols and web technologies

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc
