Cloud Architect - Docker/Kubernetes (4-6 yrs)

Cloud Architect :

- Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company

- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design

- Manage cloud environments following company security guidelines

- Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools

- Interface between application development, support and infrastructure support teams

- Create knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation to help developers and operations teams understand and leverage the system's capabilities

- Lead in the design, development, debugging, and maintenance of software components using a combination of technologies

- Experience with Evaluating, Designing, Developing and Building PoC and Architect Infrastructure solutions

- Deep understanding of networking technologies and troubleshooting

- Deep understanding of storage technologies and applications

Responsibilities :

- Lead team in developing platforms based on AWS,Azure, Kubernetes and Grafana.

- Work with System Engineers, Developers, Architects, and DevOps engineers to design and implement automated solutions with CI/CD Pipelines for infrastructure and software build, deployment, and configuration.

- Design, deploy, and support Cloud Networking including cross-cloud and site-to cloud connections.

- Ensure Digital Platform service level expectations are clearly defined and measurable through Service Level Objective (SLO's) and Service Level Indicators (SLI's).

- Ensure that Instances Deployed to Cloud Platforms meet patching, monitoring and DR/Backup Standards.

- Leverage scripting languages, such as Python and Terraform, to build automated solutions and integrations on an ad-hoc basis.

- Maintain code and scripting Git version control repositories and related systems supporting initiatives around "infrastructure as code".

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with the build, deployment, and continuous integration process.

- Ensure security is integrated into all architecture solutions to meet compliance standards.

- Design, build, and test cloud architecture to ensure large amounts of data can be transferred and stored efficiently.

- Maintain information accuracy and security while initiating bulk data transfers.

- Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise.

- Create data transfer and storage standard operating procedures and policy documentation while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

- Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes.

- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud, especially during major transfer, updates, or changes.

- Serve as the cloud architect subject-matter expert for the marketing team and at company webinars, trade shows, and panel and integrations on an ad-hoc basis.
