Plastic Surgeon Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performing various flaps (local, pedicled, as well as free flaps) for the reconstruction of post-traumatic defects; nerve and vascular repairs, onco-reconstruction
• Management of congenital defects like syndactyly, polydactyly and clefts
• Management of chronic wounds (surgical and non-surgical) - bedsores, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers
• Assisting in procedures such as nerve transfers & free functional muscle transfer for brachial plexus injuries; free vascularized lymph node transfer for lymphedema
• Actively participating in multi-disciplinary teams orthopedics, ENT, surgical oncology) for management of complex cases (polytrauma, reconstruction post mucur debridement)
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• M.Ch degree in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) or equivalent qualification.
  
• 1-5 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery.
  
• Strong knowledge of general surgery principles and practices.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
