Job Description: Proposal & Pre-Sales Lead.

Position Title: Proposal & Pre-Sales Lead.

Department: A&D Proposal / Pre-Sale Lead.

Location: Bangalore.

Type: Full-time.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Proposal & Pre-Sales Lead to join our team.

This role is responsible for leading the proposal development process, creating compelling sales presentations, and supporting the sales team to secure new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales, costing and Embedded development activities, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including managing timelines, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality proposals.

- Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to understand client requirements and develop techno-commercial proposals that effectively address their needs.

- Write, edit, and format proposal content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with client specifications.

Pre-Sales Support:

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to potential clients.

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to inform pre-sales strategies.

- Assist in the creation of sales collateral, including case studies, whitepapers, and brochures, to support business development efforts.

Client Engagement:

- Engage with potential clients to understand their business requirements, address inquiries, and provide detailed product/service information.

- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed to support the sales process.

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance the proposal and pre-sales process.

Collaboration & Coordination:

- Work closely with the BUH, SME, Project team, sales, SCM and project manager to gather necessary information and insights for proposals and presentations.

- Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and comprehensive responses to technical and functional queries in proposals.

- Monitor and track proposal status, feedback, and outcomes to continuously improve the proposal development process.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, computer, Communications, or a related field.

- A Master's degree is a plus (MBA).

- 6+ years of experience in proposal development, pre-sales, or a related role within the [specific industry].

- Proven track record of successfully managing complex proposal processes and securing new business.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software if any.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of aerospace defence products development and services.

- Understanding of sales and Engineering principles.

- Certification in proposal management (e., APMP) is an advantage.
