Role & responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resources required for successful project completion.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Implement project management best practices to ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a collaborative working environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Resolve conflicts and address issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
Budget and Cost Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project.
Review and approve project expenditures, invoices, and change orders to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality or objectives.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of workmanship and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual agreements.
Address any non-compliance issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain project integrity.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.
Manage expectations effectively, addressing concerns and soliciting feedback to ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and community members, to facilitate project success and mitigate potential obstacles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in project management within the real estate industry, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including zoning regulations, permitting, and land acquisition.
Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build rapport with stakeholders.
Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles.
PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Lean Construction management are preferred.
