Milton International School Kelambakkam is looking for IT Technician to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Software Support: Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and ensure proper licensing compliance
Network Administration: Assist in network configuration, setup, and troubleshooting issues related to LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless networks
Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures such as antivirus software, firewalls, and data backup systems to protect against cybersecurity threats
System Upgrades and Maintenance: Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and security
Documentation: Maintain records, documentation, and logs of IT systems, issues, resolutions, and configurations
User Training: Provide basic IT training to users on software applications, security best practices, and IT policies
Requirements:Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications
Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and basic cybersecurity practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with users to understand and resolve their IT concerns
