Service Engineer - Electric Vehicle

Job discerption:

Responsible for upkeeping and servicing or high-end electrical truck used in mining

operations.

Job specification:

Understanding of EV systems, components, and their interactions.

Knowledge of electric powertrains, batteries, inverters, and charging systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with EV components and systems.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for EVs and understanding of the mechanical aspects of EVs, including the drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems.

A strong emphasis on safety protocols and procedures related to high-voltage systems in EVs.

Knowledge of emergency response measures in case of accidents or malfunctions. Familiarity with the software and firmware that control and manage EV systems. Ability to update and troubleshoot software-related issues. Effective communication with customers to understand and document issues.

Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Strong customer service skills to interact with vehicle owners and provide satisfactory solutions to their concerns. Collaboration

with other engineers, technicians, and support staff to address complex issues. Working closely with other departments such as operations and quality control.
