The TD ESD/Latch-up Design and Characterization team at Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an expert Senior ESD Engineer with the emphasis of conducting ESD/LUP research and experiments to investigate how to design-in the best ESD and latch-up circuit solutions for new memory designs. Y ou will work in a highly innovative, motivated, Upbeat, environment.
Job Responsibilities
Work Closely With ESD Design & Methodology teams to understand the upcoming requirements on ESD aspects for DRAM & Nand Memory Designs
Develop & Maintain Collaterals which can help ESD Design Engineers verify the different aspects which can help ESD designers deliver a robust ESD designs.
Communicate & manage the different aspects for collateral delivery and ensure customer needs are prioritized and well attended.
Continually improve product design and reliability by introducing innovative methods for ESD design verification collaterals.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
A proven understanding of advanced semiconductor device physics, including deep submicron CMOS devices.
A good understanding of groundbreaking CMOS process technology and electrical circuit analysis.
Candidate should have experience in implementing the ESD reliability checks in languages like PERC
Good coding skills in python/Skill will be an added advantage.
Experience in Cadence design tools for design, layout, and verification tools.
Familiarity with ESD analysis tools like PERC or Path-Finder or similar software tools.
Strong data analysis skills are required to extract the high current ESD properties and develop ESD/Latch-up design rules for critical ESD circuits.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required to provide ESD/LUP technical leadership with diverse worldwide teams in Design, Product Engineering, R&D characterization, and Quality Assurance teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
A BS Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, with 3-5 years of experience, OR
A MS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics with 2 years of experience, OR
