Engineering Manager - SaaS Applications (7-9 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Development :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and collaboration.

- Hire and onboard top-tier engineering talent to expand the team and strengthen technical foundation.

Technical Leadership :

- Drive the design and development of scalable, robust, and efficient systems focused on performance, reliability, and security.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance for tackling complex challenges and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Product Collaboration :

- Work closely with co-founders, product managers, and designers to align engineering efforts with the product roadmap.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new features, enhance existing functionalities, and address technical debt.

Process Optimization :

- Establish and refine best practices for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance to improve efficiency and product quality.

- Advocate for automation and process improvements to minimize bugs and speed up release cycles.

Technology Ownership :

- Oversee critical platform features like ad creative generation, cost breakdowns, and international ad support.

- Drive innovation using cutting-edge technologies such as LLMs, SDXL, ControlNet, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

- Design scalable architectures that cater to the growing needs of our expanding customer base.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams, ideally within a SaaS environment.

- Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Golang, REST APIs, SQL optimization, Gin framework).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools like Glue, CloudWatch, and vector databases.

- Deep understanding of software development best practices, including logging, unit testing, and CI/CD processes.

- Experience in building AI-driven or ad-tech platforms is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in fast-paced startup environments.

- Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in ad creatives and campaign optimization.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams, including product, marketing, and design.
