Reports to: Manager - Axles Engineering Location: Mysore Business group: CVS Function: Engineering Overview: Executes Axle Engineering Function Dimensions: Executes axle engineering activities, to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Competencies: Processes technical excellence Thinks conceptually / Intuitively Committed to customers Values learning Drives for continuous improvements Drive for business results Education / Experience: The applicant desired background and skills would include: Engineering BE / B Tech with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in axle design Design experience with structural components including forgings, castings, weldments Excellent understanding of static analysis, and familiar with fundamentals of dynamic analysis Knowledge of bearings, bearing stress and press fit tolerances Knowledge of Pro - Engineer Well versed with MS Windows and MS Office software
