- As a Category Lead - Destination, you'll spearhead the launch and growth of our destination wedding vertical, building a robust category and curated catalog to craft extraordinary experiences for our clients.

- The Category Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

- This role involves managing end-to-end category operations, supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and market analysis to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction.

- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and industry knowledge to influence category performance effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Build and scale the destination wedding category and product catalog, including services and packages.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team across planning, procurement, and execution.

-Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure category success.

- Curate, negotiate, pricing and maintain relationships with vendors, and suppliers for best-in-class offerings.

- Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to enhance category performance.

- Develop promotional strategies and pricing structures to maximize revenue.

- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior to make data-driven decisions.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.

- Ensure timely project planning to maximize customer satisfaction (CSAT) and unit-level profitability.

- Oversee seamless end-to-end execution, delivering exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field; IIT/Top-tier institute preferred.

- 4+ years of experience in category management, catalog building, vendor management, supply chain or event planning.

- 2 to 3 years of experience in team handling or in leadership role in Category, Procurement, and vendor management within the wedding or hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership and project management skills.
