About the Role:
- We are seeking a talented and motivated SEO manager to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and enhance overall online visibility.
- You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to drive measurable results.
Experience :
- 2-4 years of relevant Experience (Preferably in Retail/E-commerce Company)
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing website traffic through organic search listings.
- Responsible for the creation of the information architecture of the website and SEO future-proofing.
- Researching and resolving HTML code, content, link architecture, and navigation issues.
- Continually monitor organic search rankings to increase traffic and sales.
- Analyze website strategies and translate qualitative data into recommendations & tactics for revising the strategies.
- Report on the overall SEO health of our web properties and roll up SEO reports in a meaningful way.
- Competitor and Keyword research/analysis using tools.
- Maintain Blog which should be regularly updated and search engine optimized.
- Troubleshoot SEO problems & propose resolutions for SEO implementation issues on the website.
- Stay on top of current search engine news, SEO practices, trends, and emerging items of interest.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming for our website.
- Work on decoding Search engine Algorithms through controlled and measurable experiments.
- Coordinate between Tech/Dev, UI(Website Design), Content, Product, and QA teams & make sure to have a handshake between these departments.
- Coordinate with the Tech team to improve Core Web Vitals by briefing about changes to be implemented.
- Help the team look beyond traditional SEO and deliver high-quality output to take SEO to the next level.
- Lead a team of content writers and mentor them in the ways of organic search tactics & advice on best SEO practices.
- Support other teams by taking ownership of the projects undertaken.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization - On-Page/Off-Page/Technical SEO and App Store Optimization.
- Deep understanding of SEO aspects - Core Web Vitals, Page Experience, Mobile Usability, Keyword Analysis, Competitor Research, Website Architecture, Content Optimization, and more.
- Hands-on experience in Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Business Profile (Google My Business).
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS with the ability to make on-page optimizations.
- Utilize Google My Business (GMB) effectively to optimize local SEO efforts and drive foot traffic to physical stores.
- Implement comprehensive App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies to improve the visibility and discoverability of the mobile application on various app stores.
- Experience with SEO reporting and analytics tools such as GA4, GSC, GPC, GMB, SEMRush, Ahref, Screaming Frog, MOZ, and Keyword Planner.
- Knowledge of social media, Meta Ads, and PPC to optimize paid campaigns and enhance overall digital marketing efforts.
- Exposure to HTML and JavaScript would be preferred
