Job Description

The Senior IT Developer will:
- Collaborate on architecture design and direction for the various application development projects and integrations services portion within the Digital Health organization, with a particular focus on front end development of responsive web & mobile application use cases supporting the patient & HCP digital experiences
- Ensure alignment of technical capabilities to the planned architecture & strategies
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and governance within the product team
- Hands on development and coding
- Participation in code reviews
- Support security & compliance efforts to apply necessary safeguards to Medtronic environments and data
Education Required
- Bachelors degree
Job Experience
- 7-12 application development experience
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous Medtronic experience
- Experience in Digital Health application development
- Experience implementing applications and data services built on best practices for security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC II, etc )
- Familiarity with healthcare specific technologies and data formats such as HL7 & FHIR
- Experience with organizing and communicating with global teams
- Proven communication skills to technical & non-technical resources
- Experience working with Technical team members in a global model
- Good understanding of SDLC and/or Agile project management methodology
- Ability to work in a high pace environment amongst diverse operating units & products
- Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational activities
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly master new applications and develop domain knowledge
- Strong client facing and presentation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-energy and fast-paced environment
- Passion to contribute to high-quality services and solutions
- Team player comfortable to work in an international and culturally diverse team
- Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude and perform as a team player.
