Optometrist

Job description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in Hyderabad. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing eye care services, conducting eye exams, diagnosing vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and educating patients on proper eye care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or medications as needed.
• Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical products based on exam results.
• Provide patients with information about their diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including exam notes and prescriptions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments by attending continuing education courses.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 0-5 years of experience in optometry or related field (optometric technician).
• BSC/Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of optics, optometrists' skills, lenses, optical communication, refraction techniques.
• Knowledge of eye care technologies and equipment.

Statutory Compliance & Payroll:

• Statutory compliance, including PF, Gratuity, ESIC, and Bonus etc calculations.
• Payroll management and processing.
• Attendance and leave management.
