Medical Device Design Engineering (3D Modeling )

Role & responsibilities

1. Executing the full product design process from ideation to production; including precision plastic injection moulded components.

2 . Create 3d models for new concepts/designs in line with design requirements.

3. Update current designs as per given requirements.

4. Create 2D drawings with tolerance.

5. Check for manufacturability and ease of assembly.

6. Create and update design documentation including keeping history.

7. Prototyping/3d printing the designed components as per required dimension tolerances.

8. Test prototypes and make modifications to design if required.

9. During the creation process, ensure that designs meet all necessary design standards and requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
or relevant technical degree.
* CAD experience in precision plastics injection molded components
* Proficient in Solid works
It would be great to have someone with exposure in Plastics injection mold
design.
