Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets, including medical records, to identify trends and patterns that can improve healthcare delivery.

Machine Learning: Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast patient outcomes, optimize treatment plans, and enhance operational efficiency.

Medical Coding Analysis: Utilize your understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems to accurately interpret and code medical data for analytical purposes.

Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, medical coders, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data interpretation and application.

Data Pipeline Development: Design and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing healthcare data, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Quality Assurance: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest data science techniques and healthcare coding practices to ensure the highest quality of analysis and insights.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

0-5 years of experience in data science or healthcare data analysis.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Familiarity with healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and medical data management.

Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.

Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical data.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare analytics or informatics.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) for data storage and processing.
