The MuleSoft RPA Manager Developer/Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using MuleSoft RPA tools. This role involves process automation strategy, bot development, integration, deployment, and performance optimization. The specialist works closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, configure and manage RPA bots, and ensure seamless integration with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis and Automation Strategy

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to evaluate automation feasibility for business processes.
• Utilize MuleSoft RPA Managers Process Evaluation module to assess complexity, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.
• Document process workflows, automation goals, and technical requirements for bot development.

RPA Development and Bot Configuration

• Design and implement automation workflows using MuleSoft RPA Builder and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
• Record manual processes with MuleSoft RPA Recorder to generate process documentation and execution scripts.
• Develop, configure, and optimize RPA bots for tasks like data extraction, entry, and application interaction.

Bot Management and Lifecycle Maintenance

• Install, configure, and register MuleSoft RPA Bots using API keys in RPA Manager.
• Manage bot service schedules, security permissions, and application access to optimize operations.
• Oversee bot lifecycle management, including version updates, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Integration and Deployment

• Integrate RPA solutions with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, MuleSoft Composer, and Salesforce for end-to-end automation.
• Deploy production-ready bots, set execution schedules, and manage production parameters within MuleSoft RPA Manager.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between legacy systems, APIs, and modern cloud platforms.

Testing, Troubleshooting, and Performance Optimization

• Develop and execute test scenarios to validate bot functionality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve bot execution failures, workflow issues, and system integration errors using MuleSoft RPA Manager and RPA Builder.
• Continuously monitor bot performance, analyze reports, and optimize automation processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with business, IT, and automation teams to align RPA solutions with operational needs.
• Train and support end-users, administrators, and IT teams in bot management and best practices.
• Provide technical documentation, process guidelines, and troubleshooting resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft RPA tools (RPA Manager, RPA Builder, RPA Recorder, RPA Bots).
• Expertise in BPMN-based process modeling and workflow automation.
• Experienced in integrating RPA with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIs, and MuleSoft Composer.
• Strong programming knowledge in Python, Java, or C# (preferred but not mandatory due to low-code options).
• Strong understanding of Windows environments, bot session management, and security configurations.

Professional Experience:

• Hands-on experience with 2+ years in RPA development and bot lifecycle management.
• Experienced with MuleSoft RPA or other RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
• Expertise in bot deployment, monitoring, and optimization for high-performance automation.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Experienced in working cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
• Hands-on approach to troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining automation workflows.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• MuleSoft RPA Developer Certification (preferred) or equivalent MuleSoft certifications.
• Certifications in other RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in integrating RPA with Salesforce and other enterprise cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based automation governance and compliance best practices.
• Expertise in hyperautomation technologies (AI, machine learning, iBPMS) for process intelligence and optimization.
