Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE) - Plastic Industries
Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive in the Plastic Industries, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue business opportunities in the plastic manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and establishing strong relationships with key clients. Your role will involve market research, lead generation, and developing effective strategies to promote our plastic products and services. This position requires a deep understanding of the plastic industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape in the plastic industry.
2. Generate leads and qualify prospects through various channels, such as online research, networking events, trade shows, and referrals.
3. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
5. Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients to close deals and achieve sales targets.
6. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry news, technological advancements, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
8. Work closely with the production and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer satisfaction.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to develop new product ideas, improve existing offerings, and identify areas for innovation.
10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in the plastic industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes, materials, and products.
4. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
8. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and identify trends.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented individual with a strong business acumen.
10. Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
