Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry- specific forums, and recruitment events.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates.
Job Posting and Advertising:
- Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms.
- Ensure job ads are attractive and align with the company's brand and values.
Screening and Interviewing:
- Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Schedule and coordinate in- depth interviews with hiring managers and relevant team members.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
- Provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment strategies.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with candidates regarding their application status and feedback.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up- to- date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with legal and company policies, especially regarding security and confidentiality in the defense industry.
Offer Management:
- Assist in the negotiation and extension of job offers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including necessary security clearances and background checks.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in recruitment.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the defense or a similar industry.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to assess and match candidate qualifications with job requirements.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Excellent organizational and time- management skills.
