Site Engineer/ Site Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer/Site Supervisor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a key role that requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Management:

- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered to site on time.

- Manage site personnel, including laborers, craftsmen, and other site staff.

2. Quality Control:

- Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality standards, in accordance with the project specifications and industry regulations.

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues.

- Implement quality control procedures to prevent defects and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.

3. Safety Management:

- Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with the company's safety policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify and mitigate any hazards or risks.

- Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

4. Project Planning and Coordination:

- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.

- Coordinate with other departments, such as design, procurement, and logistics, to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly planned and executed.

- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.

5. Communication and Reporting:

- Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager/Construction Manager, highlighting any issues or concerns.

- Communicate with site personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including progress reports, safety records, and quality control documents.

Requirements:

1. Education:

- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2. Experience:

- Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in a site engineering or site supervision role, preferably in a construction or infrastructure project. Freshers can also apply for Site Supervisor role.

3. Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

4. Certifications:

- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA, First Aid, or safety certifications, are an asset.
