Senior Full Stack Developer - Salesforce Commerce Cloud (5-7 yrs)

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to join our team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development and experience building scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions.

In this role, you will work on end-to-end Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions, from development to deployment, and ensure that applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications for eCommerce solutions, ensuring they meet client business requirements and technical specifications.

- Build and customize both front-end and back-end solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment, ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications and systems.

- Develop API-based integrations with Salesforce and external services, ensuring efficient communication between systems.

- Ensure that solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Work across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and database) to create robust and scalable solutions.

- Use JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React or Vue.js for building responsive, dynamic, and mobile-optimized front-end components.

- Utilize Node.js and Express for building scalable back-end applications, ensuring proper data flow and logic implementation.

- Ensure that your solutions are secure, reliable, and performant, considering both client-side and server-side requirements.

- Implement and follow design patterns for eCommerce platforms to ensure code reusability, modularity, and scalability.

- Apply Agile methodologies for iterative development, ensuring that projects are delivered in a timely manner while maintaining flexibility for changes.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on optimization and performance.

- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other platforms, such as payment gateways, CRM systems, and external APIs.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular status updates, project milestones, and technical documentation.

- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of Salesforce Commerce Cloud applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

- Optimize eCommerce sites for both performance and user experience, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions across all devices.

- Troubleshoot issues in production environments, ensuring quick resolution of bugs, errors, or performance-related concerns.

- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and of high quality.

- Perform code reviews and ensure the implementation of automated testing frameworks to catch errors early and improve code quality.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for security, data protection, and privacy.

- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud features and eCommerce development trends.

- Advocate for best practices in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Full Stack Development within the team.

- Continuously improve your skills through training, certifications, and self-learning, with the goal of becoming an expert in your field.

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development with a strong portfolio of projects in eCommerce platforms.

- Proven experience in Full Stack Development, including front-end and back-end development, with hands-on expertise in technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js.

- Strong experience in integrating APIs, both for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and external third-party applications (payment gateways, ERP systems, etc.

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems.

- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including ISML templates, controllers, jobs, and data modeling.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular for dynamic, responsive user interfaces.

- Solid understanding of back-end development with Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment (e.g, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
