Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that suppliers deliver quality of direct materials and indirect materials.
• Set up incoming raw material inspection program for ensuring that all incoming raw materials comply with the Quality Plan and the inspection standard.
• Develop inspection standard and system to detect , monitor any defect not to enter the manufacturing area.
• Liaison between Purchasing, Innovation Center, Engineering,Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to determine the root causes, corrective and preventive action on supplier quality issues.
• Plan and audit supplier quality system and processes for their capability on technology and quality system requirement.
• Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis.
• Qualify suppliers according to company standards.
• Provide suitable equipment and tools for incoming raw material inspection.
• Participate in introduction of new raw materials for continuous quality improvement. 11) Control inprocess & outgoing inspections to ensure that the products have met the specification and work with team to define and verify the root cause and take action.
• To establish quality standards, policies and procedures.
• Perform data analysis, synthesize statistical hypothesis to derive inferences for conclusions to solution.
• Set up appropriate sampling plan, sampling size and quality inspection system for inprocess and outgoing inspection.
