Job description

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SQL Server, Azure, SQL Database Administration, Development, Performance Tuning.
• Deploy, Configure, Maintain Azure Servers
• Troubleshoot Azure related issues and engage internal teams and vendor issue resolutions
• Automate deployment and troubleshoot mechanisms for quick service.
• Creating and Managing logins/Access levels in Azure IAAS and PAAS environments.
• Experience on Azure AD
• Experienced in installation MS SQL Server on stand-alone and cluster servers.
• Applying service packs and security patches to SQL server instances
• Troubleshooting and resolving suspect databases.
• Migration of databases in various SQL Server versions.
• Performing Migration & up gradation of SQL Server instances.
• Creating Database Maintenance Plans for the Performance of SQL Server which covers Database Integrity Checks, Update Database Statistics and Re-indexing.
• Disaster Recovery Planning & Implementing of Backup Strategies
• Troubleshooting and resolving blocking/locking and deadlock Issues.
• Experience in automation of Daily server status reports, disk utilization reports, memory utilization/ blockings and deadlock reports.
• Experience in tools like Performance Monitor, Profiler, Import and Export wizard
• Experience in Creating and scheduling the jobs and troubleshooting the failed jobs
• Supporting objects such as SQL Server Agent jobs, security settings, and configuration settings to the new instance of SQL Server
• Configuring and Managing SQL Server Reporting Services
• Application deployments by configuring and managing Azure Pipelines.
