Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our dark store operations in Science City, Ahmedabad . The ideal candidate will manage daily warehouse activities, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will lead a team to maintain efficiency and achieve our customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, alongside other relevant tasks
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, and implement best practices for inventory management.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for senior management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
