Positon Title: AGM or Senior Manager - Learning & Development (L&D)
Location: Tarapur
Job Description:
We are seeking the Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives at our steel plant who will play a pivotal role in driving the learning agenda and enhancing employee skills through training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust learning and development strategy aligned with the steel plant's objectives and operational requirements.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and training priorities across the organization.
- Create a comprehensive training calendar and coordinate training sessions for both behavioral and technical skill development.
- Identify and engage external trainers or subject matter experts to deliver specialized training programs.
- Design training content and materials for various programs, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Conduct impact assessments and evaluations post-training to measure the effectiveness and ROI of the training initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of L&D programs with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in learning methodologies, tools, and platforms to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Monitor training budgets, resources, and performance metrics to optimize training effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications in L&D preferred.
- Proven experience in leading learning and development functions within the steel manufacturing or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in conducting training impact assessments and using data to drive decision-making
