Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, with hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade web applications using the Spring Boot framework.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to define and implement application features.

- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following best practices in software development.

- Integrate third-party APIs and web services with Spring Boot applications.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and resolving issues and bugs.

- Work on continuous improvement, including optimizing and refactoring code for better performance.

- Create unit tests and ensure code coverage for developed modules.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java and Spring Boot development.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot framework.

- Experience with Microservices architecture and developing RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with Hibernate or JPA for database interactions.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

- Hands-on experience with Maven or Gradle for project builds and dependency management.

- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

- Experience with Docker and containerization is an added advantage.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.G, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
