Job Description: Senior Nurse - ICU at Manipal Hospitals

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions for ICU patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, and respond promptly to any changes in their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Supervise and support junior nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements and best practices
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in critical care nursing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state or province of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on ICU settings
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies

The salary is too low for a senior staff, even though the fresher are getting near 30k and 13yrsexperienced nurse only getting 37k..its too bad 😞
