Engineer I - Embedded System Support

About the Role :

As a Software Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting complex system crashes for our Windows-based embedded systems. You will need to possess strong debugging skills and a deep understanding of Windows OS and embedded systems to effectively identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Support : Provide expert technical support to customers and internal teams.

- Issue Triaging : Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system crashes using Ramdump and Log analysis.

- Debugging : Utilize JTAG debug techniques to identify and resolve hardware-related issues.

- Windows Application Development : Develop and debug Windows applications to support customer needs.

- Problem Solving : Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

- Continuous Learning : Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong C/C++ programming skills.

- In-depth understanding of Windows OS and embedded systems.

- Excellent debugging skills, including Ramdump and Log analysis.

- Experience with JTAG debug and Windows application development.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in technical customer or forum support.

- Working knowledge of OpenSource support.

- Understanding of ARM or DSP processor internal architecture (Cache, interrupts, Memory barriers, Strong ordering).
