Android BSP Development Engineer - C/C++ Programming

We are seeking a highly skilled Android BSP Development Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing Android BSPs for our embedded systems. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in embedded Linux, C/C++ programming, and a deep understanding of Android architecture.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, port, and maintain Android BSPs for target hardware platforms.

- Optimize system performance, power consumption, and memory utilization.

- Integrate Android HALs (Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power, etc.) and drivers.

- Work closely with hardware teams to resolve bring-up issues and optimize performance.

- Ensure compliance with Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) and Vendor Test Suite (VTS).

- Debug and troubleshoot complex system issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android releases and technologies.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of experience in embedded Linux/Linux application/driver/kernel development.

- Strong C/C++ programming skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design.

- In-depth knowledge of Android framework and architecture.

- Proficiency in at least one Android HAL (Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power, etc.).

- Experience with multimedia frameworks (Stagefright, Gstreamer, OpenMAX, Codec2).

- Strong background in embedded systems development.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Android Automotive platform.

- Knowledge of Android virtualization (virtio, trout) and hypervisor-based OS.

- Familiarity with build systems (e.g., Make, Buildroot).
