Profile: Account Manager

Job Description:
1. Financial Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance against targets.
2. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Present financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budgetary performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
Coordinate external audits and tax filings, and respond to auditor inquiries.
Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
Desired candidates:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques,
and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP) and
Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
