SaaS engineering - Director / Manager

Responsibilities
Lead a team of 6-8 engineers in developing SaaS solutions related to analytics, automation, and AI. Desired Skills
Experience with BI and ETL tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Experience with machine learning, NLP, LLMs

Technology we Use
This role will help define our tech stack. Here is what we currently use:
Azure, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, GitHub, Jira, Notion, PowerBI, Tableau, UI Path
Serve as the lead engineer and technical architect for all product development, personally undertaking software design and coding.
Hire, mentor, and develop an exceptional team of software engineers
Collaborate with product and consulting team to define product roadmap
Maintain expert-level knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.

Background / Qualifications
8-10+ years of hands-on software development experience and proven success in developing and deploying greenfield software solutions in 0 to 1 environment.
Strong experience managing engineering teams at software companies
Solid software engineering expertise (OOA/OOD, TDD, CI/CD), experience with one or more modern development languages (i.e. Python, JavaScript, Go, etc)
Advocate for agile and development discipline
Ability to continually motivate and inspire team productivity and success
Strong expertise in data management, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
Ability to manage technical teams and effectively recruit and build engineering teams.
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
Drive engineering excellence, e.g., unit testing, code reviews, CICD, etc.
Preference for candidates with experience with health data systems (i.e. EMRs)
