Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, or other data visualization tools to provide actionable insights.
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data analysis processes and methodologies.
Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Performance and scalability optimization including troubleshooting data and reporting issues.

Background / Qualifications:
Three or more years of relevant business intelligence experience, specifically in Power BI (or Tableau), dashboard development, data integration and data modeling.
Strong experience with DAX queries and functions.
Knowledge of data integration from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud services.
Ability to debug and resolve complex data and reporting issues efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Power BI administration and deployment.
Knowledge of the Revenue Cycle Management industry or experience with Healthcare EMRs.
