Reporting to: Manager Impact

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Data Management & Monitoring

• Create an all-inclusive strategy for the operation of a projects information management systems.
• Build dashboards for projects for regular monitoring and tracking through key indicators.
• Compile and manage data related to session delivery, session attendance, number of sessions, etc.
• Maintain databases of regional data and regularly update them to maintain a comprehensive data bank.
• Regularly check data received from the field, provide feedback to respective teams and the impact team.
• Perform regular data quality checks to ensure all reported information is accurate and relevant.
• Clean and store data online in cloud-based systems.
• Maintain project data confidentiality and ensure compliance with data reporting processes.
• Analyse complex data and present it from multiple viewpoints for decision-making.

Data Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with all location managers to gather data on a weekly, monthly, and regular basis for all projects.
• Conceptualize, build, and maintain operational and program dashboards for monitoring.
• Prepare and compile the monthly outreach report for the region in collaboration with the HO team.
• Submit reports and participate in district/state-level reviews periodically as per project requirements.
• Make reports on a daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis for management.
• Work with central and regional teams to provide feedback on the health of project data.

Support to Program & Impact Teams

• Support Program Managers and Impact Managers in conducting project reviews and monitoring activities.
• Undertake field visits to ensure data reporting processes are followed and ensure data quality.
• Provide regular project updates to the impact managers and ensure timely and accurate feedback.

Training & Capacity Building

• Undertake periodic training of project staff on the MIS system and M&E processes to ensure efficient use of the system.

Review & Feedback

• Second level review of reports received from external agency evaluation reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Analyse data from various sources and present findings in meetings for decision-making.
• Work with the central and regional teams to provide feedback to different verticals on the health of the data.
• Technical Skills & Data Analysis
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel, VBA macros (Google Script), data manipulation languages such as SQL, STATA is desirable.
• Eye for detail, good writing skills, and the ability to understand and analyse complex data.

• Additional Responsibilities
• Maintain high-quality data in relevant databases.
• Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.
• Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative in solving ground-level problems.

Education Qualification

• Bachelors degree or masters with at least 3 years of experience in data management, MIS and documentation in education programs.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel, VBA macros (Google Script), data manipulation languages such as SQL, STATA is desirable.
• Data entry and project management skills.
• Eye for Detail and validation
• Ability to see the big picture and interpret information for improving program quality.
• Excellent team worker and inter personal skills. Ability to swiftly coordinate and follow up with diverse teams, navigate through uncertainty and tight timelines.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground level problems
• Well organized working style with good time management skills
• Experience in NGO or education sector will be an added advantage.
