As a Senior UX designer within supply chain management you will be focusing on turning complex industry processes into intuitive and delightful designs.
Our team s focus is to design our B2B supply chain platform for our global users both internally and externally. It is an exciting time where we are building an industry leading logistics platform solving the logistics industry's biggest problems. You will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of capabilities within the platform and be able to work with a diverse team of talented professionals.
Key responsibilities
As a Senior UX Designer in the supply chain platform team you work across all phases of the design cycle, from the discovery phase of understanding user needs, creating conceptual designs, design validation and conducting user research. The candidate will also promote Design Thinking to stakeholders in cross-functional teams including tech, product and business.
The candidate must be a self-starter and will be required to lead the UX for their assigned capability. The designer will also coach their respective team in design thinking as well as have a passion for learning to gain a deeper understanding of the work. The supply chain platform has one of the biggest design teams within Maersk, you will be working with other designers who can help guide, support and share experiences. Maersk also has a big design community with over 100+ team members for wider support for all designers.
Responsibilities :
Drive the UX efforts for the entire product cycle.
Identifying the UX work needed and help build a vision for the long and short -term state of their respective capabilties.
Work closely with multiple product owners and business stakeholders in exploring the problem space and ideation solutions, and drive the research, design, and test - in other words: driving the design of delightful experiences from idea conception through to final product launch.
Make conceptual ideas and refine them into a useful and valuable product prototype.
Create user flows, wireframes and mock-ups.
Provide and solicit feedback from other designers within the team to continually raise the bar of quality.
Contribute to design teams component library and design guidelines
Promote Design Thinking and a user centric design approach.
Identify user research needs, conduct discovery and usability tests.
To qualify for the role you must have:
Have a degree in UX, HCI, Product Design, or a related field with 3 years of experience with desktop experiences, product-, interaction-, and information design.
Familiarity with design software like Figma, Axure, and Sketch - we primarily use Figma.
A strong and clean visual design sense.
Experience working in an agile development process and/or Iterative UX environment.
A proven experience in rapid prototyping and experimentation to test ideas quickly.
A passion for putting the customer first and solving for our customer needs.
Comfortable working directly with our internal users and external customers to understand their needs, demo mock-ups, gather feedback, etc
Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
Ability to work independently on multiple projects with stakeholders while liaising and reviewing with fellow designers
Excellent time and project management
Proven ability to collaborate and to communicate ideas and design rationale - verbally and written.
Fluent communication with English in a culturally diverse and corporate environment.
Fluent communication in [ Local language ] is a plus
Experience working with Enterprise UX is a plus.
Experience working with supply chain and logistics is a plus.
