Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain complex, robust systems that meet project requirements and adhere to coding standards.

- Craft multi-platform software solutions for a variety of clinical needs.

- Drive innovation by proposing creative solutions and enhancements.

- Lead project-level design decisions, including data storage, middleware, and frontend architecture.

- Collaborate with colleagues to define and implement technical standards.

- Guide the team on integration strategies and ensure seamless system interconnection.

- Own architectural integrity and work to minimize technical debt.

- Review and analyze existing code, identifying and proposing alternative approaches for improvement.

- Modify application code to create new features or enhance existing functionality.

- Identify and recommend solutions for missing system requirements.

- Champion improvements in development and maintenance practices.

- Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation for complex systems, including subsystem integrations.

- Review and mentor junior engineers on technical writing best practices.

- Perform thorough automated unit testing and conduct complex debugging procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Ensure the team completes appropriate testing for all software components.

- Define and report metrics that track team performance and software quality.

- Lead large-scale, intricate projects that leverage diverse technical environments and require expertise within a specific healthcare domain.

- Accurately estimate work effort for development backlogs.

- Analyze technical feasibility and deliver feedback on product initiatives.

- Partner with stakeholders to identify potential project hurdles and inter-team dependencies.

- Define project scope, timeframes, and resource needs within comprehensive documentation.

- Recommend optimal resource allocation and task assignments for project backlogs and chartering efforts.

Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience in designing business processes, process mapping, and developing business application systems.

- Extensive experience testing and debugging clinical software and workflows.

- Extensive experience developing software for clinical environments and medical labs.

- Experience integrating both internally developed and externally sourced software for large-scale applications.

- Experience building Microservices Architecture.

- Strong understanding of JAD sessions or other requirements gathering methodologies.

- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.

- Experience building and deploying alpha and beta products on cloud platforms.

- Strong programming skills in relevant languages (e., Python, Java).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
