Who are we looking for
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager / Director to establish and lead our SAP S/4 HANA Center of Excellence (CoE) in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and managing CoEs, particularly in SAP environments, and has experience across different modules like SD, MM, Manufacturing execution, Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM) modules, EHS, GTS, Finance and costing modules. The Senior Manager will lead a team of highly skilled functional experts, ensuring the configuration, development and testing aligns with the global template and supporting future rollouts and live locations.
What will you be doing
- Center of Excellence (CoE) Leadership Project Management:
- Build, manage, and lead the SAP S/4 HANA Center of Excellence from the ground up in Bangalore, India.
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the CoE, ensuring alignment with business goals and SAP S/4 HANA global best practices.
- Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators for SAP S/4 CoE, with a focus on continual performance improvement.
- Lead team to a deep understanding of level 3 business processes, clean core concepts (within SAP S/4HANA and the impact to KPIs of the business.
- Initiate, estimate, plan and manage IT projects to successfully accomplish business goals
- Provide Project Management for projects involving offshore functional consulting team.
- Team Building Motivation: Attract, hire, retain a team of functional experts, particularly in SD, MM, PP, QM, FICO, EHS, GTS and other related SAP S/4 modules.
- SAP S/4 Configuration, Testing Rollout :Ensure that the configuration of SAP S/4 HANA supports aligns with the organization s SAP S/4 global template, following a "rinse and repeat" approach for consistency and efficiency.
- SAP S/4 Support Collaboration:Manage ongoing support for SAP S/4HANA locations, ensuring stable operations, and resolving any functional issues.
- Innovation Continuous Improvement:Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP S/4 HANA, specifically the SAP S/4 architecture and integration components currently in use or planned to be deployed, particularly in the areas of SAP BTP, SD, MM, Manufacturing, PP, and QM, EHS, GTS and Finance and Costing modules.
What competencies will you need
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA and 10+ years of experience in SAP, with a strong focus on delivery of S/4 HANA projects
- Proven experience managing SAP S/4 HANA CoE teams and building operations from startup, especially in offshore environments.
- Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA global template configuration, rollout, and post-go-live support across multiple modules.
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and developing high-performing teams. 5 years of leading SAP teams in a global company, preferred.
