We're looking for exceptionally talented and motivated individuals to help us build the world's best telecom research company. You'll be teaming up with salespeople from a diverse set of backgrounds who are challenging every assumption about research sales. We are looking for a Sales Manager / Team Lead for EMEA/Africa Market with proven leadership skills, a successful sales track record, and solid business acumen to join our Global Sales Organization. The position will play a key role in leading a team of sales executives, coaching/training, and assisting them in creating a funnel.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers
- Follow up to generate interest over Audio and Video conference calls (Inside Sales)
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Coach, mentor and motivate your team of Account Executives on the sales process and quarterly/annual quota achievement while being hands-on as well
- Managing a team of Sellers/Account Executives. Team size can vary between 3-6 which is expected to grow further in 2023
- Coach Sellers on Selling processes, Deal understanding, thinking on feet, Objection handling
- Manager CRM and enforce it as a process within a team
- Look at sales reports to track key KPIs like conversion rates, forecasting, etc.
- Conducting weekly forecasting meetings and coaching on strategies to create pipeline closures
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers when necessary to drive deals forward
- Reporting on sales activity, productivity, and forecasting to senior sales management
- Own and achieve sales targets for new business sales.
You have:
- Post Graduate Degree in MBA preferred
- 5+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor role, including 2+ years of sales management (/team-leading) experience in any international Market
- Strong people manager/mentor/lead with a proven record of sales success in a similar B2B/business software application environment and have sold globally
- Successful track record of consistently hitting quota in a high-volume transaction sales environment
- Individually closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Understand the high-level Demand Generation process and Outbound Lead Gen process
- Experience with a CRM solution (like Salesforce.com) and Web Conferencing Technology
- Strong presentation/demonstration skills, communication, and written skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
