Senior Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop special-purpose assembly automation systems and testing systems.
2. Validate and finalize design concepts based on customer specifications.
3. Convert design concepts into 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
4. Perform engineering calculations related to the strength of materials, speed, pressure, and force.
5. Produce detailed drawings with relevant GD&T and bills of materials.
6. Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, and machining processes.
7. Liaise with vendors and purchasing teams during manufacturing and procurement.
8. Coordinate with execution teams during assembly, testing, and machine qualification.
9. Ensure adherence to ISO procedures and ethical standards.
10. Complete projects within the stipulated time, cost, scope, and quality.

Requirements:
1. Diploma / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 2-4 years of experience in automation design.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software.
4. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and GD&T.
5. Strong engineering calculation skills.
6. Ability to conceptualize and create solutions for complex design requirements.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Logical thinking and analytical abilities.
9. Team player with a proactive attitude.
