SAS Visual Investigator Analyst

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAS Visual Investigator (VI) Analyst to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining investigation workflows, dashboards, and visualizations using SAS Visual Investigator. You will collaborate with various teams to leverage data, analytics, and advanced investigation techniques to identify and mitigate fraud, risk, or other financial crime activities.

Key Responsibilities:
SAS Visual Investigator Development:

Design and develop investigative workflows, including building visual interfaces, dashboards, and case management systems using SAS Visual Investigator.
Customize SAS VI to suit the specific needs of fraud detection, compliance, or financial crime investigation processes.
Configure data entities, define rules, and set up alert systems to monitor suspicious activities.
Data Analysis & Investigation:

Leverage SAS Visual Investigator for pattern detection, link analysis, and discovery of unusual activities across different data sources.
Analyze complex datasets to identify fraud, risk, or money laundering activities.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Integration and Data Management:

Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure proper integration of data into SAS VI from different sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Build ETL pipelines to process and feed relevant data into the SAS VI environment.
Collaborate with IT to integrate SAS VI with other compliance, fraud detection, or risk management systems.
System Optimization:

Continuously monitor and tune the performance of SAS VI environments, ensuring optimal system performance.
Conduct system tests and debugging to identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
Propose and implement updates to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SAS VI processes.
User Training & Support:

Provide training and technical support to users on how to use SAS Visual Investigator for case management and data analysis.
Create user documentation and guides to assist with understanding investigation processes and the SAS VI platform.
Act as the main point of contact for resolving issues related to SAS VI.
Collaboration & Compliance:

Collaborate with compliance, risk, and fraud teams to tailor SAS VI for their specific operational needs.
Ensure all data and investigation processes align with legal and regulatory standards, particularly in anti-fraud, AML, and compliance functions.

Experience:

3 to 6 years of experience with SAS Visual Investigator.
Experience in fraud detection, financial crime investigation, or compliance analytics is highly desirable.
Familiarity with AML compliance, risk management, or fraud prevention tools and technologies.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SAS Visual Investigator configuration, data modeling, and dashboard development.
Strong understanding of SAS programming, SQL, and ETL processes.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and link analysis.
Familiarity with database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
Knowledge of SAS Fraud Management or similar platforms is a plus.
