Lepide - Senior PHP Developer - Javascript (5-9 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX)team

- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications

- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API

- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support

- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale

- Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions

- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues

- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components

- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager

- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in core PHP

- Good Knowledge of OOPs

- Knowledge of concepts behind Ajax is highly desirable

- Expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, Restful API (any framework)

- Good knowledge of relational databases like MYSQL

- Leadership experience in creating, deploying, and iterating excellent software

- Extensive problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of DevOps would be an advantage

- Hands-on implementation of SaaS would be an advantage

- Be able to estimate with limited information by guesstimating based on some logical reasoning and assumptions

- Be able to clearly state the assumptions for the estimate

- Strong understanding of technology across stacks

- Ability to research out potential products/technologies for the proposed solution

- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

- Experience in JIRA/Confluence is an advantage

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
