- Global People Culture Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive global People Culture strategy aligned with the organization s overall business goals, ensuring seamless integration across Japan and APAC regions.
- Leadership Team Contribution : Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to business planning and strategic decision-making in collaboration with the global CEO and CPO.
- Senior Leadership Coaching : Provide guidance and coaching to senior leadership on leadership effectiveness, organization design, talent management, and people practices, with a focus on managing teams across diverse geographies.
- Scalable People Function : Design and implement a People Function operating model that scales with employee growth and location expansion, ensuring technology enablement and global consistency.
- People Function Leadership Management : Oversee all aspects of the people function for a team of 50+ staff, leading and managing teams across Japan and APAC countries to drive a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.
- Organizational Effectiveness Talent Retention : Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Group People function, CEO, and CPO, to assess and enhance organizational effectiveness, structure, and culture while driving progressive people practices to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Startup Mindset Adaptability : Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and quickly adapt to change while driving innovation.
- Leadership Collaboration : Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse retail workforce.
- HR Expertise : Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and learning development.
- Tech-Savvy Operational Excellence : Proficient with HR tech tools and systems, and able to manage hands-on HR operations efficiently.
- Strategic HR Initiatives : Experience developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Bilingual : Fluent in both Japanese and English, with effective communication across diverse teams.
