Required Candidate profile

Lawyers interested in joining the Capital Markets Team of the Law Firm at the Delhi office of the Law Firm should preferably be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council or qualified as CS and must possess excellent command over the English language. The candidate is also expected to:

(A) To independently prepare the following chapters/ parts of DRHP and deal with the comments/ observations of SEBI, Issuers and MBs:

1. General Information;

2. History;

3. Capital Structure;

4. Outstanding Litigations;

5. Government Approvals;

6. Our Industry Chapter;

7. Management Chapter.

8. Our Promoters & Promoter Group

(B) Advise the clients on Public offerings

(C) Advise on legal and regulatory matters.

(D) Draft documents.

(E) Negotiate contracts.

(F) Working with bankers to obtain approval from various external parties such as regulators, listing agencies and rating agencies.

(G) Advise clients on corporate governance matters and stock exchange rules

(H) Interact directly with company executives and Board of Directors

All lawyers joining the Law Firm are expected to work full-time with the Law Firm and are not allowed to carry on parallel independent practice. Accordingly, any lawyer selected against the current vacancies shall be expected to give up his/ her pending court cases or merge/ integrate his/ her existing practice with that of the law firm. All lawyers are paid a fixed monthly retainership amount.

Local and outstation travel, boarding and lodging in relation to client-related work are provided by the Law Firm to all the lawyers.
