JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent will primarily be in charge of:
Skill Architecture Development o Design and implement a robust skill architecture framework tailored to the legal industry. o Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to identify key skills and competencies required for various roles within the firm.
Skills Assessment o Create and administer skills assessment assignments to evaluate current skill levels of members. o Develop tools and methods for ongoing skills assessment and gap analysis.
Role-Skill Mapping o Map each role within the firm to the required skills and competencies. o Ensure clear and transparent criteria for performance evaluation based on skills.
Technology - Enhanced Learning o Leverage advanced technologies such as AI, VR, and data analytics to create immersive and interactive learning experiences. o Implement a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate and track employee development.
Performance Evaluation o Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop a performance evaluation model focusing on skill proficiency. o Train managers and team leaders on how to use the new performance evaluation tools effectively . Learning and Development Programs o Design and deliver training programs to address identified skill gaps. o Partner with external training providers when necessary to enhance skill development.
Continuous Improvement o Monitor the effectiveness of skill architecture and assessment programs. o Collect and analyse data to continually refine and improve the skill development process.
EDUCATION AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE
8-10 years post-qualification experience in the L&D function, primarily focused on Skill Based Competency Framework, Skill Assessments, and Role Vs Skill Mapping specific to various levels, functions, and practices in the organization
At least 3-4 years of experience in creating Skill Architecture Framework
A Masters Degree in Humanities, Business or Psychology

Experience in Business Consulting Firms, Big 4, Law Firms, HR Consulting Firms
Experience in creating Frameworks for Skills Assessment and Gap Analysis
Significant experience in mapping Roles with Skills and Competencies
Working knowledge of creating Performance Evaluation Models focusing on Skill Proficiency
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills Good ability to build relations with stakeholders
