In this role, you will collaborate closely with our internal subject matter experts to create and test models that inform decision making, drive operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize business performance.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of global location strategy and capacity management models to ensure optimal performance during peak and off-peak periods
Create scenarios that contemplate a variety of business, client and operational factors to ensure that planning remains efficient and effective; Provide data-driven insights to support the planning of maintenance schedules, staff allocation, and resource utilization
Collect, clean, and validate operational data from various sources, including finance, operations, recruitment, and management; use a combination of new and existing data platforms to view and analyze data
In partnership with the business, prepare operational forecasts and scenario analysis to support decision-making
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the staffing and promotion of key job families
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate key insights to stakeholders
In partnership with the operations business, continuously monitor system performance data to identify potential capacity constraints and recommend corrective actions
Work closely with the operations team to ensure that data analysis aligns with on-the-ground realities
Support initiatives to improve data quality, collection processes, and analytical tools.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the performance and capacity of key operating functions within Consilio s delivery business
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field such as Operations Research, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline; Master s degree and/or relevant certifications useful but not required
5-7 years previous experience in data analysis, capacity planning, logistics, or operations management; experience with both manual and technology-enabled capacity planning systems
Direct or indirect leadership of analysts, interns, or team members desired but not required
Proven experience building and managing simple capacity planning models, basic forecasts, and working with multiple internal data sources to inform, test, and refine models against real-world data.
Previous experience both managing and maintaining capacity planning activities, including ongoing governance, helpful but not required
Hands-on expert proficiency with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, or Python
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, OrgVue)
Deep understanding of capacity planning methodologies and principles, ideally for multiple industries and workforce types
