Mendix Technical Lead - Low Code Technologies (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

1. University degree in (Applied)Computer Science/Software Engineering, or akin qualification

2. Sound experience with Mendix

3. Experienced with at least one modern programming language such as Java

4. Professional experience in the conception, application development and implementation of software projects in the enterprise environment with Mendix

5. A broad technological spectrum and experience with integration technologies such as ETL is a plus

6. Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with colleagues across the organization influenced by different working cultures (primarily German)

7. Ability to drive topics and to learn new technologies and skills (T-Shape philosophy)

8. Experienced in agile environments (i.e. flat hierarchies in daily work), combined with profound agile mindset and corresponding experience in daily work

9. Business fluent English spoken and written

Tasks (Description of main tasks) :

1.Conception, development and operation of applications with LowCode technologies, primarily with the Mendix platform

2. Extending the existing low code capabilities of the Mendix platform with Java and Java Script if needed

3. Creation of data models and data integration for Mendix applications

4. Enable and coach junior developers to upskill them self

5. Define development and operations best practices for Mendix

6. Ensures that the team consistently gets the most out of Mendix capabilities.

7. Coordination of requirements in close cooperation with the product owner, the UI/UX specialist and the

internal customer

8. Integration of low code applications via the Data Platform together with data engineers

9. Taking on the technical responsibility of applications throughout the life cycle as part of a DevOps team.
