Purpose of the Role
1. Lead the development of marketing strategies for IA, TA and Trading, by integrating subject knowledge and industry expertise to drive results and future growth for the business, ensuring customer needs are met
2. Oversee and control all transactions and interact with key decision makers and customers in order to develop business and build long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships
3. Drive performance by providing guidance and support to the team across Business Development.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Develop, initiate and implement strategies for all Marketing teams including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative, in order to develop sustained and improved business for the organization.
Responsible for monitoring and understanding changes in macro-environment, market and industry and their impact on demand across the globe.
Lead efforts towards understanding the competitive landscape in a comprehensive manner, including best practices and market intelligence from key competitor firms.
Ability to capture and specify the design requirements, and the development and validation needed to deliver successful systems, products and components to meet/exceed the customers specifications.
Develop and execute a strong and consistent brand strategy and guidelines for the company and new products, across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material) to deliver customer acquisition and engagement goals.
Identify opportunities to reach new market segments in Textile and Industrial Automation Marketing and expand the market.
Ensure more focus on business development for Industrial Automation and all goals are met in alignment with the Management.
Ensure SOP's related to Marketing and BD are adhered to in each and every activity of the organization.
Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to management and customers and provide regular progress updates.
In the case of critical/high volume customers, interact with key decision makers in order to understand their stated and unstated needs, feedback on product and overall sales process and hence build lasting, mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
Oversee Design freeze / release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), and serve as the point of contact for any RFQ input.
Provide team members with constructive insights on tools, macro economic trend, market conditions and competitive landscape for sustaining and uncovering business opportunities,
