Laerdal - UX Designer - Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

As a UX designer at Laerdal Bangalore, you will play a vital role in shaping our product design process. You will support user researchers by conducting interviews and surveys, then translating these insights into sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes across various projects.

You will work closely with client co-ordination, designing overall functionality of the product.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of user centered design and apply various design principles to deliver engaging experiences, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating impactful user experiences.

Responsibilities :

- Ability to be able to plan user research, develop research plan, and run testing with customer in a self-coordinated way.

- Facilitate client's product visions by researching, conceiving, sketching and mocking up user experiences for digital products.

- Extensive experience working in agile and product centered environment.

- Must be pragmatic and process oriented in the above activities.

- Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.

- Design and deliver user flows, user journeys, wireframes and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.

- Must possess strong communication and presentation skills like present concepts, visions, high level directions, to engage with teams and convince stakeholders.

- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

- Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

Skills & Qualification :

- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in research and design.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with experience in UX/digital design and service design alongside proven hands-on design research experience and skillset.

- Ability to work autonomously and creatively, to drive and be the initiator.

- Confidence in design and research methods and processes, while being flexible and open to adapt approaches to evolving situations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.

- Strong knowledge of research and design software's like Mural, Microsoft Tools, Figma and Behavioral data tracking tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

- Ability to have fun, grow and learn.

Technical Skills :

- Hand on experience in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDraw.

- Practical experience in development of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, Javascript, (optional).

- Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability and responsive website design
