Job Description
Candidate shall have a knowledge of NDE methods . He shall have ASNT NDT Level III qualification in NDT methods (RT, UT, PT and MT). He should be versed with ASME and IBR Codes. He must have knowledge of NDE instruments. He shall be responsible to hande NDE function, his responsibility includes,
- Establishing, maintaining and approving Written Practice for Training, Qualification and Certification of LMB NDE personnel
- Interpretation of Codes, Standards and Specifications
- Development, demonstration, qualification and approval of NDE procedure as per ASME Codes, standards and specifications
- Establishment and approval of techniques
- Establishing LMB s NDE procedures
- Designating the particular NDE methods, techniques, and procedures to be used
- Training, examination, certification, periodic technical performance evaluation and continuity records of NDE Level I & NDE Level II personnel
- Performing, Interpretation, Evaluation and reporting of NDE as per ASME codes, standards and specification whenever required
- Resolving NDE related issues
- Monitoring and control of NDE subcontractor
- Maintaining calibration of NDE equipments
