Junior / Senior Data Engineer

• Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites

Core Competencies

• Hands-on technical experience with knowledge experience in SQL and Apache Spark (PySpark) preferable

• Data Engineering and implementation experience in big data technologies such as Spark. Activities include data ingestion workloads, ETL workloads and data transformation

• Experience and should Comfortable programming languages in SQL, Pyspark, Python, R or Scala

• Knowledge or Experience using cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferable

• Knowledge and experience in AI/ML and visualization skill sets will be an added advantageExcellent communication skills; Experience in customer-facing consulting role preferred

• Passionate about learning new technologies and making customers successful

• Any exposure to data lakes, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging in Spark and/or other big data solutions is preferable

• Experience using databricks platform for Data Engineering operations would be an added advantage

• To be competent working as an individual and as a team lead towards success of the project
